God For Us

Romans 8:31-34

The reassurance of this scripture gave hope to the early church as they were coming to an understanding of God’s love and the true vastness of his love to them. Paul, the author of Romans, was helping the reader to recognize that no matter what, nothing could separate them from the love of Christ and his salvation.

Throughout this Christmas season, it is important that we reconnect with the fact that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. The same love that caused God to send his son to die for us is the same love that continues to pursue us today. That same love is the love that we can rest in and find peace in during every season. So today as you go through the hustle and bustle of life and the holiday season, rest in the reassurance that God’s love is for us.

Father God, today as I walk through my ordinary life, would you help me to remember that you are for me and that your love is always chasing after me. As I go throughout my day help me to remember that nothing can separate me from your great never-ending love.
